Salesperson Raised in the hills of southern Oregon, Quincy learned to sail on a 16’ Hobie Cat on the high mountain lakes. The cold winters up north and the warm climate of the lower latitudes pulled him down to Southern California where he began racing small dingy boats as well as larger racing yachts. After Quincy earned his USCG 100-ton ocean master’s and ASA 201, 203,204,205, & 214 Instructor licenses he sailed the coast of Santa Barbara and the outer Channel Islands for a number of years. Through several yacht deliveries ranging from San Francisco to the southern tip of Baja Mexico, and years of international experience, Quincy saw a need to elevate yacht ownership in his home harbor in Santa Barbara.
